CORE Commercial Rebate Terms:
Only one rebate per business. Your application is not complete until we have received an invoice for the work noted in this application, and a signed Utility Waiver form.
*If your project is located in the City of Aspen, you may also qualify for additional rebates.
- For projects completed by in-house staff, invoice for labor must be included
- Rebates will be offered for new equipment only
- Itemized invoices showing manufacturer and model number of all equipment is required
- Applicable receipts and/or invoices are required for rebate payment
- All projects are subject to applicable regulations and permitting
- Energy Smart Rebates are calculated after all other available incentives have been deducted. Total rebate (ESP + Utilities) not to exceed 50% of project cost.
- Energy Smart Colorado reserves the right to change rebates and/or standards without notice
- Energy Smart Colorado reserves the right to inspect projects for completion and Quality Assurance
- Rebate funds are limited and are available on a first-come first-serve basis
Utility Waiver:
Consent to disclose utility customer data - Energy Smart Colorado utility partners: Holy Cross Energy, City of Aspen Electric, Black Hills Energy, Xcel Energy.
By signing this release form, I grant Energy Smart Colorado (Managed by CORE - the Community Office for Resource Efficiency), permission to access electric and natural gas consumption information for the purpose of identifying both my historic and future energy consumption. I understand that consumption information provided to Energy Smart Colorado will be used to track my energy use starting with the month of January for the two years immediately prior to my application as well as my future energy usage occurring for three years after my application. In the event an energy audit has been conducted for the two years immediately prior to my application (during my ownership and/or occupation of the address listed above.) I will make a request to the applicable utility that such audit results be provided to Energy Smart Colorado. This energy consumption and audit information is necessary to evaluate the success of measures funded through Energy Smart Colorado’s commercial energy programs. I understand that my specific energy consumption and audit information obtained by Energy Smart Colorado will be treated as highly confidential and will not be used for any purpose other than that specified herein, subject to the requirements of the Freedom of Information Act, the Colorado Open Records Act and the regulations of the Colorado Public Utilities Commission. I understand that the utilities identified above have no control over the use of my energy consumption or audit information once it has been provided to Energy Smart Colorado and therefore release them from any liability for damages or harm that may come about as a result of the use or misuse of my electric and/or natural gas consumption information or the results of past energy audits. I hereby authorize the above listed utilities to provide Energy Smart Colorado with consumption information for the account number(s) listed above. If applicable, I also hereby authorize the release to Energy Smart Colorado of any energy audit results previously conducted for the account(s) identified above.
